My Philosophy
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I have a passion for working with young adults, women, and families as they navigate life's transitions and struggle to find their unique purpose in the world.
With over 6 years of experience in providing therapy to individuals and families, I specialize in the treatment of anxiety and depression through the use of Narrative Therapy, CBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I also have 4+ years experience working with those impacted by and suffering from substance abuse disorders.
As a therapist, I strive to provide a safe, nurturing, judgement-free space for my clients to rest, process, and explore their thoughts and feelings. My goal is for every client to leave with a better understanding of who they were created to be and equip them with a roadmap to achieve positive, lasting change.
I strongly believe a positive therapeutic relationship can change the trajectory of your life simply by feeling known, understood, and seen. It is never too late to implement change, restore hope, and find healing.
A promise from rebecca:
I promise to be fully present, to give you my undivided attention and care.
I promise to create a space for you that is safe, nurturing, and judgement-free.
I promise to provide the best quality of therapeutic care, acting not as the expert but as a compassionate collaborator in your story.
I promise to stand beside you, to challenge you, encourage you, and empower you in your journey towards healing and wholeness.
“I’m so thankful for Rebecca. When I began therapy a few months ago, I had no control over my anxiety. Our sessions taught me the skills needed to let go of things from my past that were connected to my anxiety. I have learned new coping skills to deal with the inevitable struggles that come with life. For the first time ever, I feel confident that I have the ability to cope with and overcome anything that may happen in the future. ”
